Sacramento SEO suggestions from the professionals
I dug around a little recently because I wanted to see how many small time web-site designers really knew how to help optimize websites for search engine listings. (By small time period I don't mean most people less talented than good sized firms, but really just 100 % free lancers and localized agencies - because some residents I found put some of the large firms to shame when it comes to talent.)
When some research, I found that several in different places do. But a lot don't. In fact, considerably seem to think that will search hasn't changed much since 1998. This was very disappointing to me because I've been very impressed at the amount of quality and affordability some of these small firms have in regards to web design, but then they just fall short in regards to search.
1. What code does one use?
No technical people probably don't fully understand much about code. That's acceptable. Here's a quick fail. EzineArticles is stored for a computer called a server that's linked to the internet. When you access the web page, you use an internet browser which is referred to as a client. The client submits a request to the server which serves in place files. Some of these files are interpreted and made by the server, while others are manipulated by way of the client. Both the browser along with the server determine what's displayed on the screen.
When google search crawls EzineArticles, it doesn't work with a browser. Any files that will be executed on the client's aspect aren't run. It's like they don't exist to Google. A lot associated with websites are coded using mainly client side scripts - JavaScript and Flash. Javascript is run by the browser, Flash is run just by an additional program you must download. A lot of images might be a problem too. Though these images are accessed and visible to search engines, search bots only use text to make feeling of what they're experiencing. I've seen entire web sites built using image files; it makes me cringe.
Your freelance web designer should be using HTML, PHP, or a language that outputs static words documents whenever they're accessed in the server. If they're not, your website can't get optimized for search.
two. Will you submit my site to find engines?
There are a few services that charge you a nice amount of money to submit to search engine listings. Some promise submission to help Google, Yahoo, and Ask. Others promise submission to "200+ yahoo. " More still say they'll submit your websites multiple times.
